Mobile Commons, LLC uses a small number of cookies and browser storage entries on mobilecommons.com. This page lists each one, what it does, how long it lasts, and how to control it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information more broadly.
Your choices
On your first visit a notice asks whether to turn on analytics and advertising measurement. Both stay off until you say yes, and rejecting them takes one click, the same as accepting. You can change or withdraw your answer at any time with Your privacy choices at the foot of every page, or with the button below. When you withdraw consent we delete the cookies this site set for that purpose and stop loading the tool. We ask again after 12 months.
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of advertising measurement, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag does not load.
Strictly necessary
These run the site, protect our forms, and remember the choices you make. They are always on and do not track you across other sites.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| mc_consent | Mobile Commons (browser storage) | Records your privacy choices and when you made them. | 12 months, then we ask again |
| mc_device, mc_motion | Mobile Commons (browser storage) | Remembers the phone (iPhone or Android) and the motion setting you chose in the interactive demonstrations. | Until you clear site data |
| mc_lead_email, mc_leads | Mobile Commons (browser storage) | After you send a form, remembers your name, work email, and organization so the next form is filled in and you are asked only once. The form itself sends your details to Salesforce, our customer relationship management system. | Until you clear site data |
| mc_attr | Mobile Commons (session storage) | If you arrive from one of our ads, remembers the campaign tags in that link so a form you send tells us which ad brought you. Sent only with a form you submit. | Until you close the tab |
| _GRECAPTCHA | Google reCAPTCHA (cookie) | Protects our forms from spam and abuse. Loads with pages that have a form. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. | 6 months |
Analytics (optional)
Off unless you turn it on. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read and which demonstrations are played, so we can improve the site.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics (cookie) | Tells one visitor from another so visits can be counted. | 13 months |
| _ga_PYBNN5537S | Google Analytics (cookie) | Keeps track of your current visit, such as the pages viewed in it. | 13 months |
We run Google Analytics with Google signals and ad personalization turned off, and we do not share its data with Google for advertising. Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
Advertising measurement (optional)
Off unless you turn it on. The LinkedIn Insight Tag tells us when a LinkedIn ad led to a visit or a booking. It can also let LinkedIn show our ads to people who have visited this site, and LinkedIn may connect it to your LinkedIn account. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|
| li_fat_id | LinkedIn (cookie on this site) | Recognizes a visitor who arrived from a LinkedIn ad, so a booking can be credited to that ad. | 30 days |
| bcookie, li_sugr, lidc, UserMatchHistory, AnalyticsSyncHistory | LinkedIn (cookies on linkedin.com) | Identify the browser, route requests, and match visits for ad measurement and audiences. | From 1 day (lidc) to 1 year (bcookie) |
LinkedIn controls its cookies and may change them; its Cookie Table has the current list.
Links to other services
Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, our Trust Center, and Microsoft Bookings (where you pick a meeting time) open those services, which set their own cookies under their own policies. None of them is embedded on this site.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary entries means the site will ask for your choices, or your email, again.
