New York, June 25, 2026 – Today marks an important moment for Mobile Commons (the “company”). After joining a group of investors to purchase the company he founded almost twenty years ago and returning the company to its initial roots as a leader in its space, Jed Alpert is handing the role of Chief Executive Officer to Frederik Roikjer, who will guide Mobile Commons into its next chapter.
Since day one, Mobile Commons has existed to do one thing exceptionally well: help nonprofits, advocacy groups, and labor and workplace organizations turn mobile messaging into real-world action. That mission isn’t changing.
Thank you, Jed
Jed Alpert founded Mobile Commons to put powerful mobile organizing tools in the hands of mission-driven organizations, and over the years the platform has helped its customers reach and mobilize tens of millions of people. That founding vision, and the values behind it, remain at the heart of everything we do.
Looking ahead with Frederik
Frederik Roikjer brings almost 20 years of professional experience to the role. His focus will be on the work that delivers the most impact for customers: world-class campaign execution, the rollout of RCS, and pricing that’s tied to results.
| “Mobile Commons has a rare combination: a clear mission, deep expertise, and customers doing some of the most important work in the world. My job is to help this team focus on what delivers the most impact for our customers: outstanding campaign execution, the rollout of RCS, and pricing that’s aligned to results.” Frederik Roikjer, CEO, Mobile Commons |
Priorities
Three priorities define this next phase, each one aimed squarely at helping our customers do more with every message:
- Deeper full-service partnership. A dedicated strategist running customer programs end to end (strategy, segmentation, copy and creative, testing, and reporting), honed across hundreds of nonprofit and advocacy campaigns.
- RCS messaging. We’re rolling out RCS, the most significant upgrade to text messaging in years, bringing branded, richer, higher-trust messaging to campaigns, and onboarding customers now.
- Outcome-based pricing. We’re aligning what customer’s pay with the results achieved, so costs reflect the value received.
Our commitment
For our customers and partners: it’s business as usual, with the same teams and the same dedication to customer mission. We’re investing in the platform and the service model , and we’re excited to bring our customers, both current and future, along as RCS and outcome-based pricing expand.
