Overview
In early June, Apple announced several new features coming with iOS 26 this fall.
One of the most notable updates focuses on improvements to the Messages app. To help reduce spam and protect users, Apple is introducing a dedicated “Unknown Senders” inbox. This inbox will
automatically filter messages from senders you haven’t interacted with or whose numbers aren’t saved in your contacts.
Given all products under the Mobile Commons umbrella have always been in the business of message integrity and operate as consent based, A2P messaging platforms, we don’t foresee major impact to our customers with the roll out of iOS 26. We’ve outlined answers to common questions in the FAQ section below, along with strategic recommendations to help our customers prepare for the rollout this fall.
